Alright - finally finished with Breaking Bad. Anxiously awaiting Season 5. But with no more of Walter and Jesse’s adventures in the meth trade to watch, I have a decision in front of me. I need to pick a show to fill the hole that Vince Gilligan’s brilliant show has left behind in my TV-watching habits. I’m stuck between two critically acclaimed shows: Deadwood, an HBO darling and cult favorite set in an historically accurate version of South Dakota in the 1870’s; and Battlestar Galactica, the wildly popular re-imagining of the 1970s cult science-fiction show. I know I’ll get to both eventually, but I wanted to know what Tumblr recommended. Feel free to post any recommendations for other shows you think I’d like: for reference, my favourite shows are Community, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, The X-Files, Parks and Recreation, Breaking Bad, Freaks and Geeks, Six Feet Under, How I Met Your Mother and Doctor Who.
